The Hard Rock Hotel celebrated the addition of its newest music hangout Vinyl with Robert Randolph and the Family Band at the venue’s official grand opening party on Thursday night.

Guests indulged in complimentary cocktails while marveling in the space’s distinct speakeasy atmosphere and listening to the funky and soulful music provided by Robert Randolph and the Family Band. The group had the crowd moving and grooving during its performance to songs including “Thrill of It,” “Ain’t Nothin Wrong With That,” “I Need More Love” and more.

Vinyl made its debut in August 2012 and was created to showcase the newest local, regional and national must-see artists. The multi-functional room already has had a diverse group of musicians visit its stage including Julien-K, “The Red Rocker” Sammy Hagar, local hard rock group Sin City Sinners, Blaqk Audio, reggae artists Mishka and Anuhea, Static-X and more. Thursday’s grand opening celebrated the unique, new entertainment setting that Vinyl offers in Las Vegas.
