Fast on the heels of the announcement that IAC would control a majority stake in Newsweek Daily Beast, company chairman Barry Diller suggested that Newsweek, the venerable print component of the venture, would evolve to a mostly digital format. “The transition to online from hard print will take place,” Diller said. “We’re examining all our options…I’m not saying it will happen totally.”
