Audi’s First Digital Showroom Debuts in London

London not only has been buzzing about the 2012 Olympics, but the luxury German car brand, Audi has just unveiled its first digital showroom there called Audi City. The digitally created showroom showcases Audi’s entire model line-up for all visitors to have the opportunity to choose from several hundred million vehicles.

“Audi City combines the best of two worlds – digital product presentation and personal contact with the dealer,” said Audi sales chief Peter Schwarzenbauer.

He went on to explain: “People are placing greater emphasis than ever before on a direct and personal bond of trust with their vehicle brand – especially in respect of the increasing variety of products and available information.”

“Thus, with Audi City, we are creating a one-stop-shop for experiencing our brand. It is right in the midst of our customers’ lives, yet seamlessly connected to the online range offered by the four rings.”

The showroom will feature exhibitions on specific issues such as art, culture, urban development mobility and design, including hosting many after-hour events: round table discussions, readings and of course, daytime operations.
