Colorful glass adorns the bar. Candles light up the tables. These are just a few of the decorative features of Mezze, a chic restaurant that features Eastern Mediterranean gastronomy with stylish décor. A gem in the Los Angeles culinary scene, Mezze recently announced its one year anniversary with a special lunch menu that’s perfect for locals and visitors who desire a unique dining experience.

For those unfamiliar with Mezze, small, shareable plates are the heart of this restaurant. Diners can choose two different plates for $15 and receive a glass of house red or white wine for another $5. The great thing is that there are dishes for vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. An example of Chef Micah Wexler’s twist on Eastern Mediterranean cuisine is a plate of Egyptian Rebel Fries, topped with heirloom beans, brisket, and syrian cheese. Another interesting choice is the cauliflower flatbread, sprinkled with Moroccan olive, feta, and golden raisin. These aren’t the only tasty choices–there are more than a dozen options to choose from.

To find out more, visit Mezze at 401 North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles. Lunch is between 12p.m. to 2 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday.
