Prego is introducing their new spring menu with a Candoni wine dinner April 8th at 7:00 p.m., so make your reservation to taste the best of the season paired with some great pours from a great Italian winery.
Chef Ugo Allesina is creating a menu (and pairing it with great wines from the 150 year-old winery) to bring the best of spring to the table. Priced at $54.95, the wine dinner includes everything from start to finish with a few surprised in-between. Here’s the menu:

Bietole con Caprino
Roasted organic gold and red beets topped with fresh arugula,
goat cheese and toasted pine nuts finished with a lemon vinaigrette
paired with: Candoni Pinot Grigio
Homemade flat pasta with sausage ragu, porcini mushrooms, truffle oil and reggiano
paired with: Candoni Pinot Noir
Tasca di Vitello Farcita
Breaded veal filled with fresh asparagus, prosciutto di Parma and mozzarella with demi-glace
paired with: Candoni Chianti
Napoleone con Fragoline
Classic Napoleon mascarpone mousse with wild strawberries and silky chocolate sauce
paired with: Candoni Moscato
