Save the Date: Sports All-Stars Come Together to Support Kids In Distress At This Year’s Celebrity Beach Volleyball Tournament

Michael Irvin. Dennis Rodman. Oronde Gadsden. Lorenzo White. Where can you find all of these celebrity sports legends in the city of Miami? Answer: You can find them this Sunday, March 13 at the behind the Bamboo Beach Tiki Barat at the Ocean Manor Resort for the fourth annual Celebrity Beach Volleyball Tournament. The only thing that is better than being surrounded by the elite sportsmen and the soft warmth of the hot beach is the fact that this significant event is benefitting Kids in Distress, an organization that works to prevent child abuse, and help to protect those who have been abused and neglected in South Florida.

The five noteworthy sports all-stars will act as coaches for the five volleyball teams that are warming up to compete for this momentous association. The five teams are made up of five of the most populous and delicious restaurants on South Beach; Tokyo Blue & Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar, Blue Martini, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Off the Hookah and Trina. Each restaurant will be donating $500 to Kids in Distress, as the event is accepting mandatory $5 donations from the attending public upon entrance to further donate to this charitable organization.

The tournament begins promptly at noon, so if you are feeling benevolent, and up for some good Miami fun-in-the-sun and celebrity interaction, then come support your favorite team and Kids In Distress for this once-a-year event. It’s sure to be a hit. For more information about the fourth annual Celebrity Beach Volleyball Tournament Benefiting Kids In Distress, please call 954.566.7500.
