Haute Hair: Los Angeles’ Original Drybar Comes to Dallas

You won’t find a long list of salon options at the newest spot to open at The Shops at Highland Park. In the place of expensive color treatments or elaborate cuts, Drybar’s menu offers seven refreshingly simple blowouts, all for only $35. The ingenious concept is compliments of Southern California, where Drybar has taken the area by storm, already garnering over 25,000 loyal clients in under a year.
Debuting in Dallas on Friday, February 11th, just in time for Valentine’s, Drybar has already begun seeing repeat customers.  “Since we opened our first location in Los Angeles, the requests for a Dallas location have been non-stop,” said Alli Webb, Drybar president and co-founder. “When we found our ideal venue in Highland Park we knew it was a perfect fit!”
Drybar is teaming up with local Dallas residents Jeffrey and Shannon Williams on the 1700 sq. foot location which features all of the signature Drybar elements, including elegant décor, cozy tufted Italian seats, marble bars outfitted with iPhone docking stations, energy boosting gourmet snacks,  and flat screens with everyone’s favorite chick flicks on rotation – all underpinned by a custom playlist of music.
“After visiting Drybar we knew immediately that this concept had to be brought to Dallas,” said Shannon Williams. “This was a place my friends and I would be visiting frequently and that’s why I had to get involved with introducing
Drybar to our city.”
The Drybar Menu:
Straight Up: Simple and Straight
The Manhattan: Sleek and Smooth
Southern Comfort: Big Hair with Volume
The Cosmopolitan: Lots of Loose Curls
The Mai Tai: Messy and Beachy
The Shirley Temple: Pre-Teen Blowout
Whichever style you choose, you can guarantee your tresses will be treated to help you look gorgeous for any engagement. Stylist Rocky gave me a mix of the Cosmopolitan and Mai Tai, a sexy, congruous creation that screams “I’m going out tonight!” Even though it was a Sunday,  I was compelled to do some serious dancing and hair tossing.
The Los Angeles Drybar locations have already become a regular stop for Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, including Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Eliza Dushku, Maria Shriver, Nikki Hilton and more!
Regular client Rose McGowan loved Drybar so much she even became an investor.
