Steve Jobs

Category: Billionaires

Company: Apple

Industry: Technology

What Made Him Haute: You don’t need us to tell you the background about why he’s haute. What he’s been up to in 2010 to keep his haute factor relevant is the ongoing teasers, official announcements and updates regarding Apple’s new iPad, with the WiFi model that went on sale April 3,and the 3G version not far behind it. Only time will tell if Apple can once again deliver on its hype.

What Makes Him Haute Now: The end of the year is around the corner, and so are a slew of awards that want to include everything that has happened. Recently, the CEO Vision Awards is nominating Apple’s Steve Jobs for his new introduction to the market: this year’s iPad. “I think with the iPad, Apple has reinvented the personal computer,” said InternetNews.com advisory board member Tim Bajarin, principal strategist at Creative Strategies. According to the buzz, competitors of this huge corporation are scrambling to come out with something called the tablet.
