It seems as though Atlanta has plunged head first into charity season because today there is another charity event helping those in need. This Saturday November 20, local hotspot Dunwoody Tavern is hosting Rockin’ for the Cure which is a fundraising effort set to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Attendees can expect great food, cool atmosphere and rockin’ music. Together we can rock out and fund a cure!
Beginning at 5 p.m. and rocking out until 1 a.m., the Dunwoody Tavern will play host by having several local bands perform from all over Atlanta. Those participating include: Shark Fighter and Sun Domingo, who will perform some of your favorite rock hits from the 70s and 80s. Guests are sure to be in a giving mood after they “head-bang” to some of the best known rock hits that are always guaranteed to rock the crowd. There will also be a raffle that is ongoing throughout the night that consists of great prizes and other gifts.
While entry is free, guests are strongly encouraged to donate to LLS. For those that do make a donation, they will receive a special dinner plate featuring pig roast and a raffle ticket. Dunwoody Tavern is known to have a “liquid courage” drink of the night and all the proceeds from sales of this drink during the event will go directly to LLS. This holiday season, give from your heart and rock out in the process!
