1 Fashion Cares

Jeffrey Kalinsky of Jeffrey Atlanta Jeffrey New York produces the official kick-off to the social season with the 18th annual Fashion Cares 2010. The evening includes a reception, followed by a live auction and runway shows. This year’s honorary chair will be Spanx owner and founder Sara Blakely and guest designers will be Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandezof Proenza Schouler.  As with previous years, proceeds for the evening will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Atlanta AIDS Partnership Fund.

2 Corps de Ballet Kickoff Luncheon

Every year, the socialites come together for an elegant luncheon to kick off the Atlanta Ballet Season. The who’s who of Atlanta socialites, the luncheon us sponsored a by Saks Fifth Avenue, and will take place at the Ritz Carlton.

3 Jazzoo

The 3rd annual Atlanta Jazzoo event is always a blast. Held at the Zoo Atlanta, Collective Soul’s Dean Roland and q100’s Jenn Hobby will be hosting the party to benefit Zoo Atlanta.  Presented by real estate company Vantage Realty and Zoo Atlanta, the festive evening appeals to younger, hipper set with live music, open bars and food from 20 great restaurants.  For this one, creative cocktail attire is a must. Break out that leopard and zebra print outfits and check out the animal exhibits until dusk.

4 Legendary Party

Every year the social set in Atlanta gather to benefit the famous Shepherd Center. While this crowd tends to be on the older side, you will find every power couple and philanthropist in Atlanta at the annual Legendary Party.  This year’s event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.The Legendary Party will be held on November 6 at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. 5 Party in the Kitchen

Join this year’s co-chairs Mary Williams and Sally Hawn for the annual benefit for Open Hand at Mason Murer Fine Art.  Over 400 guests, dressed in all white, will enjoy a night of cocktails, music  and dancing. Foodies love this benefit as well, because chef’s from some of Atlanta’s best restaurants will be preparing the cuisine. A silent auction will also take place with proceeds from this as well as the evening going to Open Hand’s efforts to provide food to Atlanta’s home bound seniors.
