This weekend, Ashley Tisdale and her “Hellcats” cast mates celebrated the success of their hit new show on the CW with a non-stop party weekend in Vegas spent at MGM Grand hot spots Wet Republic and Tabú Ultra Lounge. Joining Tisdale was her band of television cheerleaders including Heather Hemmens, Robbie Jones, Matt Barr and Sharon Leal and friends including sister Jennifer Tisdale.
The actors made MGM Grand their home away from home, kicking off the Sin City weekend Friday night at Studio 54, which Jones declared “fantastic!” Ready to catch some rays by Saturday morning, the crew headed to Wet Republic and enjoyed a private bungalow near fellow pop star Avril Lavigne. When rain showered on the pool, Barr soaked it in and declared, “It [the rain] was fantastic; everyone was out there dancing and it was one of those moments you’ll tell your kids about. We got wet at Wet Republic!” Later that evening, the stars dined at CraftSteak before heading to Tabú Ultra Lounge to dance the night away.
Arriving to Tabú in a sexy cream-colored mini-dress, Tisdale was immediately surprised with a belated birthday cake while DJ MattyMatt led the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday!” The starlet quickly blew out her candles and continued partying with Hemmens, Jones and Leal in the exclusive Tantra Room, where they were also joined by new friend Lavigne. Finding a pair of Hpnotiq pom-poms, Tisdale playfully danced around to hits like Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone” throughout the night.
Sunday morning arrived and the “Hellcats” continued the party at Wet Republic, arriving early and stripping down to bikinis and board shorts. Laying on the chaise lounge chairs in their exclusive bungalow, the cheerleaders basked in the sun before walking the infamous blue carpet. Tisdale looked beautiful in a white knit cover up showing a pink and black lace bikini peeking through, completing the ensemble with black cage heels. Hemmens played the part of hot girl next door in a cream T-shirt and black miniskirt covering a spicy red bikini. The California boy to Hemmens’ girl next door, Barr looked gorgeous in his laid-back T-shirt and board shorts. Jones arrived showing off his outgoing personality in a loud black and neon T-shirt reading “Do You.”
On the carpet, Ashley exclaimed that her belated birthday celebration was everything she hoped for and that Wet Republic “is like a club but it’s a pool. It’s awesome; it’s the coolest pool I’ve ever been to in my life…It’s a really great time.” The starlet also revealed that major drama is about to go down on Hellcats as her character Savannah and Hemmen’s character Alice have a blowout confrontation. Jones divulged that “over the next couple of episodes you’ll see a lot of sexiness, a little bit of nudity and a whole lot of fun” while Hemmens hinted that an amazing dance routine is going “to blow everyone away.”
The crew then settled back into their bungalow to enjoy the sounds of DJs Sharam, Tony Arzadon, Robbie Rivera and Willie Morales who were closing out the 2010 season of Daylife Sundays. Munching on Wet Republic goodies including Kobe sliders and Hpnotiq-swirled cupcakes, these Hellcats were enjoying a break from the rigorous cheerleading practices. Playing up her TV counterpart, Tisdale grabbed a Hpnotiq megaphone and pretended to lead Wet Republic in a cheer. The sun was blaring as the sexy cheerleaders continued the party into evening, soaking up every last minute of Vegas fun before heading back to high-kicking and tumbling reality.
