Florida Chapter of Voices Against Brain Cancer Celebrates with Inaugural Cocktail

To celebrate the launch of the Florida Chapter of Voices Against Brain Cancer and the upcoming Sounding Off For A Cure Concert, taking place at the The Fillmore Miami Beach At The Jackie Gleason Theater on Feb. 10, notable Voices Against Brain Cancer Ambassadors will join Mario Lichtenstein, founder of Voices Against Brain Cancer, and Chef Douglas Rodriguez, the globally acclaimed godfather of Nuevo Latin cuisine, as they toast to the organization’s achievements at a special cocktail at De Rodriguez Cuba on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m.

Prominent Miami fixtures and charity ambassadors, including Haute Living’s very own CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Alan and Diane Lieberman, Aleco and Carolina Azequeta, Herman and Alexia Echevarria, Alfredo and Elizabeth Beracasa, Andrew and Shari Menachem, Belkys Nerey, Brandon & Giovanna Lieb, Brian Elias, Carlos Betancourt, the Cervera Family, Diego & Gisela Lowenstein, Frank Amadeo, Ingrid Casares, Kamal Hotchandani, Leslie Munsell, Louis Aguirre, Luis Garcia Fanjul, Lynn Martinez, Maria Celeste Arraras, Mari Alarcon-Grimalt, Norma Quintero, Oscar and Carole Seikaly, Ric and Raquel Watters, Yolanda and Jeff Berkowitz, among others, will be present for the evening. With the sounds of Conjunto Progreso providing the night’s entertainment, advocates will support the Voices Against Brain Cancer mission to find a cure for brain cancer by advancing scientific research, increasing awareness within the medical community, and supporting patients and families afflicted with this devastating disease.
