Ayyam Gallery opens two new branches in Cairo and Dubai

Ayyam Gallery has recently opened two new branches in Cairo and in Dubai bringing the total number of their gallery spaces to five.  The Cairo gallery opened on October 19th with a solo show by Syrian artist Safwan Dahoul and in Dubai the new DIFC venue located in gate village opened on October 25th featuring works by Khaled Takreti.

Ayyam’s new launches also include the refurbishing of its 80,000 square foot Art Center in Al Quoz which will soon host a variety of large-scale exhibitions, installations, a permanent collection and also film screenings becoming one of the Gulf’s ‘premier art venues.’

Ayyam Gallery was founded in 2006 and has become one of the Arab world’s premier art spaces. The gallery features Middle Eastern art especially from the Levantine region. Ayyam seeks to promote the development of Arab art at home and internationally and has dedicated itself to a number of important arts initiatives including blockbuster exhibitions, special publications and events, art auctions and arts projects such as the “Shabab Ayyam Project” providing a research-based environment for talented selected young artists. As the gallery furthers its expansion so too does the international recognition of Arab artists continue to develop.
