Damiani to Debut Jewelry Collection for Ferrari at W Scottsdale

Diamonds and Ferraris combining forces? Um, yes please. Tomorrow evening, Sept. 10, at the W Scottsdale, Italian jewelry designer Damiani will debut to the U.S. its new collection of jewels, made exclusively for Ferrari, amid a fleet of sleek and sexy Italian sports cars.

“Noir: An Evening of Darkness and Light” will take place from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the W’s WET Deck, where the models, adorned with Damiani gems, will forgo the runway for illuminated platforms staged on and around the pool. Spotlights playing with the concepts of darkness and light will make the jewels sparkle brilliantly, thrilling guests as they take in one dazzling creation after another.

Admission is free, and guests (21 and older) are encouraged to wear all-black attire to fit in with the fete’s red, yellow and black theme. The models will be taking care of the red and yellow part, as will the sports cars parked at the hotel’s entrance when guests arrive. Don’t miss the newly unveiled 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia, which will be one of the cars making an appearance that evening.

Isaac Jewelers of Scottsdale will be providing the sparkle, and Scottsdale Ferrari will be bringing the wheels. Other sponsors include SmartWater, Patron, Maker’s Mark, Ultimat Vodka and the Sun Devil Club, along with Arizona Foothills magazine. In fact, the models showcasing the jewelry tomorrow night are all Arizona Foothills 2010 Face of Foothills models.

A special, one-of-a-kind jewelry piece will be raffled off before the end of the night, and the evening promises to hold many other surprises. Ladies, tell your man that the two of you have plans tomorrow night — this sounds like one fashion show he won’t mind attending.
