Bvlgari’s Grand Opening in San Francisco

On March 2, 2010 Bulgari celebrated the opening of its largest U.S. store in San Francisco. For the fortunate ladies, and of course gentlemen, who snagged an invite to Bulgari’s grand opening soiree, it was an evening of luxurious proportions. Nicola Bulgari, Vice Chairman and grandson of founder Sotirio Bulgari, and Veronica Trenk, USA Managing Director, hosted the lavish event.

Guests arrived to the new location, spanning 13,000 square feet of regal elegance and retail perfection, to find a fabulous display of Bulgari’s most exquisite jewels. Grey Goose cocktails, inspired by Bulgari’s signature fragrances, were served at the event as VIPs and guests were introduced to the fabulous world that encompasses the Bulgari brand. Unique jewels and minaudieres from Bulgari’s Vintange Archive Collection showcased the span of its history, the same display that appeared at the 125th anniversary exhibition in Rome.

The party continued as everyone enjoyed the musical stylings of Patrick Wolfe and DJ Max Chipchase. Is there anything that could possibly go better than jewels and jazz? Perhaps it could have been the private screening of Bulgari’s greatest Hollywood moments. And let’s not forget the assembly of Sotiro Bulgari’s watch and an exquisite diamond and sapphire parue.

Among those in attendance were Mayor Gavin Newsom, Sonya Molodetskaya, Dede Wilsey, Cameron Silver, Serge Sorokko, and Charlotte Shultz.
