Actor James Franco, famous for his roles in the Spiderman movies and the Oscar-winning film Milk, has just sold his home in the Sunset Strip area for $3.3 million. Deedee Howard of Prudential California Realty was the listing agent, while Brett Lawyer of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Sunset Boulevard office represented the buyer.
Built in 1923, the Spanish-style villa has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms in 4,000 square feet. It also includes vaulted and beamed ceilings, walls and gates, city views, a swimming pool, guest house, and a master bedroom suite with a 19th century bathtub made of marble.
According to public records, Franco had purchased the home in 2006 for $2,325,000.
