My greatest achievement:

My very first IVF baby of a long-term infertility patient, who was 40 years of age at the time. She had a healthy baby girl who is now in her 30s.

The future of my field is:

It involves genetic manipulation of abnormal gene sequences including aneuploidy (abnormal) chromosomes.

The biggest misconception about my field is:

That it is not a natural selection and would lead to false imprinting, which is not true. It helps de-select abnormalities, and it is not an abnormal genetic manipulation.

My most requested procedures are:

Artificial insemination, which is largely ineffective relative to IVF. Egg/Fertility preservation is also high on the list.

What surgical advancements are you most excited about?

Probably the micro-endoscopic reconstructive hysteroscopy.

What are you best known for?

Cutting edge advanced reproductive technology and endoscopic surgery.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

There are many… there have been numerous tears of joy from becoming parents. These moments are so heartwarming!

What sets my practice apart:

Personal attention, individual management and high-end, advanced technology

What I love most about my profession is:

The positive outcomes… Happy families with healthy babies.

Career defining procedure?

The conception of a genetically normal son following PGT (Pre-implantation Genetic Testing) of a man with Huntington’s Chorea (a fatal disease that he would normally pass on to his offspring). We were able to select an un-effected embryo to cause a healthy pregnancy.

What new services are you excited to offer?

Increasingly effective results with morphokinetic embryo analysis. It means closed incubation systems, where we are able to continuously record and monitor the embryo’s development over the course of six days. This enables us to diagnose previously unknown abnormalities and produce higher rates of pregnancy.
