Reese Witherspoon has received the highest honor any mother could receive: she's been dubbed a perfect parent. The Southern belle was feted by the March of Dimes, the leading non-profit organization for pregnancy and baby health, at their 7th annual Celebration of Babies luncheon on Friday.

Actress Jane Fonda and music producer Richard Perry recently purchased a 7,500-square-foot, $7.3 million home in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates neighborhood. The two-story home was previously was owned by Emmy-winning TV director John Rich.

On Sunday, the South Korean pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin agreed to a six-year deal worth $36 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The deal had to be made by 2 p.m. PST by the team and Ryu or else the team would have been refunded $25.7 million for the fee the Dodgers had paid for exclusive rights to negotiate with the left-hander. Also, without the agreement being met Ryu would have returned home.
