Art Meets Spirits: Macallan Launches New Collection, Celebs Turn Out to Toast
Milk Studios in the Meatpacking District was abuzz with delicious scotch and even more delicious celebs Thursday night. Big names including actress Olivia Munn, Vincent Piazza (HBO series "Boardwalk Empire") and Rose Byrne ("Marie Antoinette" and "Get Him to the Greek") came out to celebrate two arts in one place — photography and scotch-making. The event kicked off the latest project for "The Macallan Masters of Photography Collection."

Celebrating it’s celebrity rebirth, Fall Out Boy’s leading man was in town to toast the revival of his haute bar. Donning a fuzzy bear hoodie and face paint (apparently in literal support of the weekend’s big game), Pete Wentz was rocking out with his new band, the Black Cards, at the Angels and Kings reopening last night.

Largest Botero Exhibit at Gary Nader Gallery in Wynwood
Gary Nader Gallery in Wynwood, home to $200 million worth of collections originating from an array of U.S., Latin, and European artists, is hosting an exclusive exhibition featuring Fernando Botero in the Grand Show and what is to be the largest collection ever of the Colombian Master artist’s work. Included in the exhibition, which runs until Jan. 31, are more than 100 paintings, as well as detailed sculptures and drawings dating back to the 1950s and progressing chronologically to present day.
