Fashion's daily bible WWD is becoming a daily and has fell victim to the changing media landscape. The institution's last daily paper will cease on April 24 ending its 105 year history. In its place will be a weekly digest magazine. " In a media age where algorithims, aggregation and native content have reshaped and destroyed many news organizations, WWD's core values and mission remains. Get the story first, be right and be fair." was the statement released. It's interesting to note that Feb 28, 2015 marked the death of the founder,87 year old John Fairchild. It is not known if he had an inkling that this would occur.

New York Sparkled Last Night With Piaget and Buccellati
New York's social-scene sparkled like a faceted gem last night with celebrations for two legendary jewelers, Piaget and Buccellati. Haute Living's first stop, Piaget's Fifth Avenue boutique which was brimming with swoon-worthy jewelry and elegant ladies and gents, all there to gawk at the latest Red Carpet gems. The Mediterranean Gardens collection was created with tourmalines, south-sea pearls, emeralds diamonds and more and are drop-dead gorgeous. You'll probably see them on the Red Carpet bejeweling Hollywood royalty.
