Part of the MARNI Summer 2013 Summer edition is the new capsule collection entitled Saturday Morning, combining outerwear and loungewear inspired pieces to create a metropolitan and relaxed wardrobe. Oversize shorts and trousers, wide skirts and tops, clean cut shirts and k-ways mix and mingle to give feelings of effortlessness, light and facility. The garments are made of cotton, technical voile and jersey cotton in white, light grey and pink. Black is used as technical and decorative detail and often recurs as a graphic accent. The collection also features a special collaboration with Dutch artist Rop van Mierlo. Blotchy shapes of animals – a donkey, a tiger, a parrot and an ostrich, specially created by the artist exclusively for MARNI, are printed onto t-shirts. The subjects are derived from van Mierlo’s book Wild Animals.

The Maison Boucheron has announce the reopening of its boutique in Dubai located on Via Rodeo in Mall of the Emirates. The 40 square meter store originally opened in 2005 and is now set within a new luminous space which pays tribute to the 26 Place Vendôme boutique, in Paris, a place chosen by Frédéric Boucheron in 1893 for the exceptional sunlight it receives throughout the day.
