Artist Alexander Charriol Brings “The Human Flow” to NYC
Have you heard the word? If you’re one of those who prides themselves on being in the know when it comes to New York’s art happenings, then it won’t be news to you that Alexander Charriol has been up to a whole lot of good the past few weeks. During the months of April and May, the Franco-American artist, has been in collaboration in KiptonArt to fuse music, art, and renowned artists together for the opening of his new series, “The Human Flow.”
Q&A with Artist Vincent Giarrano
In late March, I introduced you to painter Vincent Giarrano, as he worked on his one-man show, which centered around affluent women embracing the luxury lifestyle on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. I was thrilled to serve the role as one of his muses for the project, and shared some photos from the day we spent together inside the Oak Room, Pucci, Erwin Pearl, The Carlyle Hotel and its Tea Room, and various Madison Avenue storefronts. Today we are going one step deeper and delving inside Giarrano’s creative mind for a special Q&A that he agreed to.
Blissed-Out at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston
White orchids and flickering candles surrounded me as I entered Boston’s only five-star spa, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston. Located on the fourth floor of the luxury hotel, the 16,000-square-foot facility was quite exquisite. The ladies locker room included an ice mound and fountain—unique and different from most spas I have been to—in order to cool down the body before undergoing the steam mists that were in the ladies relaxation room. I spied a Jacuzzi in the locker room that presented an absolutely divine way to warm the muscles.
It’s Time to Spring into Fashion at Dulce in Coral Gables
Last week I told you about Dulce, one of the hottest shoe boutiques to grace Coral Gables’ happening Miracle Mile strip. I also mentioned that the new Dulce website would be here soon, and that was no lie. The girls have the site up and running, with an incredible inventory to peruse. But that’s not the real news here. What I am writing about today is to showcase some of my favorite picks from the fashionistas. Check out some of the newest inventory that are must-haves for spring and summer:

The Many Muses of Vincent Giarrano
I have recently had the pleasure of working with painter Vincent Giarrano on his new one-man show, centered around women in NYC. His subjects consist of ladies from various walks of life and my role was to help him capture scenes of a woman with a luxurious lifestyle.
We spent time at several locations on Manhattan’s fashionable Upper East Side including The Plaza Hotel, inside the Oak Room, Pucci, Erwin Pearl, The Carlyle Hotel and its Tea Room, and various Madison Avenue storefronts.
Cancer Research Institute’s Young Philanthropists Council at Saks
On March 25, 2010, the Cancer Research Institute’s Young Philanthropists Council hosted a cocktail soirée at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City, bringing awareness to the Institute’s groundbreaking efforts to change the face of cancer treatment. With music by special guest DJ Josh Madden and the chance to win a Saks shopping spree and style session with celebrity stylist Lauren Rae Levy, the evening also featured ladies modeling some of the hottest spring looks. The highly successful event included a silent auction, open bar, and passed hors d’oeuvres with a 10 percent discount on all items purchased throughout the store.
