The latest fashion news from Paris is all about the new Lanvin boutique opening in Moscow. The grand affair is to take place this fall with close supervision by Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz.

Haute Dining: Bouchon Napa Valley

Bouchon restaurant in Yountville, California serves up classic French Bistro fare with a modern sensibility at moderate prices. Step inside the cozy room and you are temporarily transported to France. The atmosphere is warm and familiar. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is deeply satisfying and in some cases a bit sinful.

Haute Spot: Beautiful You Electrotherapy Rejuventation Salon

Electrotherapy has been utilized by estheticians for decades to increase product penetration, relieve congestion and improve germicidal action. All living cells use a positive and negative current to communicate. As we age, this charge weakens and slows down our cell regeneration process, which means that its slowly stops keeping up with the havoc of stress, poor diet and environmental damage and wrinkles begin to appear. Estheticians turned to electricity as their weapon of mass destruction in the war against aging.

Save the Date: Dior to Present Special Exhibition at Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts

he French fashion house Dior will inaugurate “Inspiration Dior,” a sprawling exhibition at Moscow’s famous Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. The showcase will be open to the public from April 28 through July 24 and will feature about 120 couture dresses along with some 60 blue-chip artworks.

Haute Style: The Best Department Store Mascaras

Mascara is almost magical, with a few strokes of the wand we have the ability to transform the eye. Darker lashes open up and emphasize your eyes, intensifying your eye color, defining the lash line. Makeup artist Charlotte Willer gives her own tip on colored mascaras for girls like us: “Try putting it on just the outer corners of your lash line,” she recommends, “for a surprise flash of color.”

Haute Dining: The Best Sushi in San Francisco

It is no secret that San Francisco has one of the best culinary scenes in the country. We really got it all: best Italian, best Mexican, best seafood. And if you are looking for authentic, gourmet and one-of-a-kind sushi to please your taste palate, we’ve got that too.

Haute Dining: NINETHIRTY Restaurant at the W Los Angeles – Westwood

The first impression of NINETHIRTY as you walk in is one of casual and warm elegance. The design is sophisticated and romantic; there is a patio as well, which evokes a bit of the tropics. Surrounded by private cabanas, beautiful women, and a pool, you will likely convince yourself to stay for an extra drink to soak up some more atmosphere.

Paris Fashion Week: Haider Ackermann Fashion Show

We love Haider Ackermann; and if the fashion world held a popularity contest for the most sought after up-and-coming designer, he no doubt would win the prize! Karl Lagerfeld once said that Ackermann should be the one to replace him as Creative Director for Chanel in the future. We couldn’t wait to see his new collection and are super excited to share what he has presented for his Fall 2011 collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Haute Dining: Red Medicine Reinvents Vietnamese Cuisine

In the mood for “High Brow” Vietnamese? Head over to Red Medicine, the latest from a team that includes the “Umami Swami” Adam Fleischman, Jordan Kahn and Noah Ellis.

In a smartly done modern room on Wilshire, Chef Jordan Kahn is serving up his delicious interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine. If you’re looking for authentic dishes like the ones at your favorite place in Westminster, you wont find them here. What you will find is artfully crafted fresh tasting food inspired by Viet cooking. Spicy, sweet and salty goodness for the soul. The mint, the coriander the Thai chili! I love it. The food is well balanced and consistent, complex flavors abound. Start off with some Hokkaido scallop cured with lime sugar, green strawberries, coriander and wood sorrel or maybe the “Banh Mi” with foie gras . Then try the Pintade Fermier slow cooked in caramel, cinnamon, with mustard greens and coriander. Plenty of vegetables for you Vegans. The Brussel Sprouts with caramelized shallots fish sauce and vermouth was quite nice.
