ASPCA Gala at The Plaza, Isaaz Mizrahi Hosts and Simon Cowell is Honored
Last night marked the 15th Annual ASPCA Bergh Ball at The Plaza in New York City. New York’s well-heeled animal activists gathered to support this “pet” cause. The theme this of this year’s gala was“Fetching” and attendees included actress Lake Bell and fiancée Scott Campbell, Tinsley Mortimer, Star Jones and designer Catherine Malandrino. Isaac Mizrahi hosted and emceed the event, which honored music mogul Simon Cowell for his notable contributions to ASPCA
Salvatore Ferragamo Flagship Re-opens on Fifth Avenue
Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated its Fifth Avenue flagship re-opening, along with the launch of its luxury getaway guidebook Mr. & Mrs. Smith Hotel Collection: Italy, last night in NYC. The soiree was to benefit The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Pediatric Family Housing Endowment.

Carolina Herrera Baez, daughter of famed fashion designer and Haute 100 lister Carolina Herrera created a line of handbags under her mother’s label. Dubbed the Mini Matryoshka collection–it is a smaller version of the iconic Carolina Herrera Matryoshka.

Guggenheim Museum and UBS Announce Partnership
Today the Guggenheim Museum and Foundation and UBS Wealth Management revealed a partnership to curate contemporary art and monitor creative activity across the global spectrum, over the next five year. Richard Armstrong, director of the museum and foundation, and Jürg Zeltner, CEO of UBS Wealth Management issued a joint announcement saying the project–titled UBS MAP Global Art Initiative

Jesomino is the newest concept from the group–it’s a Russian inspired karaoke bunker with all the trimmings–yes, backup singers and celebrity impersonators, costumes and make-up galore.
