Haute 100 lister Jared Kushner has had plenty to celebrate with this week’s launch of a new magazine under the New York Observer umbrella. One thing he will not be celebrating? Kushner has officially withdrawn from the Dodgers sweepstakes, leaving seven parties in the running to buy the team.

Let’s be real–getting a New York Times review at all stands for something. So, following all the buzz about Chinese concept RedFarm in the West Village, it was just reviewed by the NYT’s Pete Wells. The verdict: 2 stars. But don’t be put off; he says the crowd and the “uncomfortable” seats are strongly outweighed by the food, which he awards an “11”.
