Mikhail Baryshnikov, Jack Huston and Tara Subkoff Celebrate Stephen Petronio Company Opening Night Gala Last Night in NYC

Last night was the opening night benefit gala and after party for Stephen Petronio Company at The Joyce Theater. The evening marked the debut performance of Petronio’s The Architecture of Loss, featuring original music by Valgeir Sigurdsson, and costumes by Gudrun & Gudrun. Guests were also treated to a performance of Petronio’s critically acclaimed City of Twist and Ethersketch I, performed by New York City Ballet principal dancer Wendy Whelan, wearing a custom made Erickson Beamon costume. Attendees included Mikhail Baryshnikov, Erickson Beamon, Karen Erickson, Tara Subkoff, Terence Koh, Lauren Remington Platt and Cecily Brown.
At the after party were Board Walk Empire’s Jack Huston, Wendy Whelan, Whitney Star, Maulik Pancholy, Tara Subkoff, Lauren Remington Platt and Shannan Click. They joined The Stephen Petronio Company at Hotel Americano. Partygoers mixed and mingled while enjoying domaine de cantone cocktails and muga wine.
