On Sunday, I woke up and it was still Fashion Week, but even on a rainy Sunday the craziness still goes on. I went to Brooke Gershel’s baby shower.

On Saturday, Lizzie Grubman and I hit two shows during the day, Adam Lippes and Vivienne Tam. Ulla Parker, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos and I enjoyed the afternoon.

Vogue sent us a Fashion’s Night Out taxi to take us around all night. Lizzie Tisch was the team captain, and she loves that captain title.

Today I went to the fashion council lunch with Karl Lagerfeld with Lizzie Tisch.

I hadn’t been to the Hamptons in two months, so it was great to get back and see all of my friends. Wednesday night Jon and Lizzie Tisch, their daughter, Hillary, David Schulhof, Stacey Pashcow, Doug Teitelbaum, Jeff and Nancy Lane and I went to Mark’s house for a great dinner. The next day I went to see Rachel Zoe and her husband, Rodger Berman, and then to visit Harlan and Debbie Peltz. I also stopped by to see Serena Boardman and John Theo to congratulate them on their new baby girl.

Last Friday night I stayed at Alexander von Furstenberg’s house in Malibu. I love waking up at his house. There’s something so calm and serene about being near the ocean. And Alex made chocolate chip pancakes for Ali Kay, his kids and me at 7 a.m. Later that afternoon Lindsay, Melissa, and Keith Meister came over with their brand new baby. So adorable!

So after my whirlwind European adventure I stopped in New York City for one night, and then off to California I went.

After Denise Rich’s party was my first night sleeping on the yacht Salu that Barry Gesser chartered for my birthday. Next, we traveled to Portofino, Italy, which was absolutely beautiful, but of course had to come back to St. Tropez for the biggest party of the summer!

Barry Gesser and I sailed his boat, Salu to Portofino, Italy, which was just like I remember it. The town is picturesque with the boats on the water and the amazing beach club. Armani and Dolce & Gabbana have homes there.
