Sixth Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament Announced
Sun Sports Heat TV broadcasters Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino announced the dates for the Sixth Annual Reid and Fiorentino Call of the Game Dinner and Celebrity Golf Classic. Starting on March 8, the two-day fund-raiser will benefit two notable charities in the Miami area: Lauren’s Kids Foundation and Dade Schools Athletic Foundation.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Shakespeare in the Park
Pack up a picnic and bring a blanket because for three weeks, free Shakespeare in the park is back. From Jan. 27 through Jan. 29, the troupe is playing at Shell Lumber in Coconut Grove and then wrapping up their tour in Hollywood. Previously they played at Pinecrest Gardens in Pinecrest.

In an allusion to Alice, “In Wonderland: The Surrealist Adventure of Women Artists in Mexico and the United States” puts the spotlight on the works of female surrealists who lived around the Second World War from Mexico and the United States. Launching on Jan. 29, the showcase is the first such exposition of its kind in the United States.
Romantic Poet William Blake on Display in Moscow
In honor of his achievements and heavy influence on artists after him, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Art’s in Moscow is exhibiting over 150 engravings, drawings and paintings mostly by Blake but also from those he influenced, including 20th Century artist Francis Bacon.
Cosmic Wine: Aged 4.5 Billion Years
Ian Hutchinson, who owns a vineyard in Chile’s Cachapoal Valley, stirred up the pot with his Cabernet Sauvignon. Instead of the usual Earth based ingredients, he went cosmic. His bottle of wine includes an ingredient older than mankind, a 4.5 billion year old meteorite that landed on Earth 6,000 years ago.
