San Francisco is in for a culinary treat tonight when Indian-born chef Floyd Cardoz, Executive Chef and partner of Danny Meyer’s innovative New York City restaurant Tabla, (whom Haute Living Food Contributor Tracey Ceurvels interviewed) disembarks west for the Kids with Cameras benefit. Cardoz will be whipping-up a sizzling array of Indian-inspired dishes for the black-tie event, hosted by SF Mayor Gavin Newsom and Jennifer Siebel Newsom, along with Jim and Susan Swartz.

Two days ago Chef Gregory Short and team were heating up one big kitchen in the Big Apple as they prepared plates for the esteemed guests of the James Beard House in NYC.
