New Brunch News from Abe & Arthur’s
It’s going to be one great weekend, and not just because of the NFL draft. What will make this weekend a true experience for residents and visitors alike is the announcement that some of our favorite Kings of the Night (read: Eugene Remm & Mark Birnbaum) are introducing a new weekend brunch menu for Abe & Arthur’s.
EMM Group, the moguls’ hospitality management group that claims such hits as SL, Tenjune, The Chandelier Room at the W Hoboken, The Estate and Four Hundred, along with Executive Chef Franklin Becker has created a new brunch menu featuring new classic American dishes with contemporary twists.
“Our objective for the menu was to breathe new life into the classics that we—and most New Yorkers—grew up enjoying,” said Abe & Arthur’s co-owner Eugene Remm. “We have taken the comfort-filled recipes of past generations and updated them using the flavors and techniques that appeal to today’s modern brunch patrons. The restaurant’s seasonally influenced menu will please even the most discerning diner.”
So exactly what are the classics that the restaurateurs will be reinventing? Here’s a sampling that had us salivating:
- The Frenchie, consisting of French baguette-French toast, warm Vermont maple syrup, and fresh berries
- Lobster B.L.A.T., made up of lobster salad, lettuce, avocado, tomato, Old Bay aioli served on a sourdough bread
- Beth’s Noodle Kugle, a recipe passed down from co-owner Mark Birnbaum’s mother
It all starts on Saturday, April 24, so make your reservations now at 646.289.3930
