The Best of Monaco Yacht Show 2026

The 2026 Monaco Yacht Show gathered more than 120 yachts across the quays in Port Hercule, alongside world premieres and bold new concepts that push architectural and engineering possibilities even further. Picture a 65-foot glass-bottomed swimming pool, an indoor basketball court, longevity chambers, a glass dome fitted with solar panels, and a sailing yacht poised to become the world’s largest sloop. Beyond the docks, aviation partnerships and emerging cruising destinations expanded the possibilities of where — and how — the yachting crowd travels. From the largest yacht in the harbor to the most radical designs still to come, these are the stories that made the biggest splash.

Biggest presence: Leviathan

At 364 feet, Oceanco’s Leviathan was the largest yacht on display and impossible to overlook. Built for Valve cofounder Gabe Newell as part of his Inkfish marine research initiative, the diesel-electric vessel was shown alongside Draak, his 305-foot companion vessel, giving visitors a view of an unusually expansive vision for life at sea. The ship comes complete with a basketball court, gaming centers, an outdoor cinema, racing simulators, a science lab, a fully equipped dive center, and a large communal dining area that seats up to 54 people.

Most anticipated debut: Nixie

Lürssen brought the 336-foot Nixie to Monaco for her public debut following delivery earlier this year. Designed by RWD, she was the second-largest yacht in the show’s lineup and one of the few 2026 deliveries at this scale that visitors could see in the water. Its silhouette houses an expansive beach club with four fold-down sea terraces, a gym, and a cryosauna. Nixie also makes a case for the best beauty on board: the top deck boasts a dedicated wellness center for hydrofacial skincare treatments, lymphatic drainage, and both a nail and hair salon for glam and pampering at leisure.

Best new flagship: Azimut Grande 44M

Fresh from its world premiere in Cannes, Azimut’s largest yacht to date arrived in Monaco with a four-deck layout that feels unusually generous for its 143 feet. Extensive carbon fiber use keeps weight down, while a transparent plunge pool looks through to the beach club below. Interiors by m²atelier make the most of the space with large windows and rooms that can shift between entertaining and private use. Plus, the mild-hybrid system lets the yacht remain at anchor with its generators off for several hours, bringing a quieter kind of luxury aboard.

Best new design debut: Medesign’s Infinity

Meccano Engineering chose Monaco to introduce Medesign, its new custom yacht design division, with a 361-foot concept called Infinity. Its mirrored bow superstructure traces the shape of an infinity symbol with a design language influenced by automotive curvature, while the proposed guest spaces include pools on multiple decks and private balconies for each suite. The concept gives the company’s design ambitions a striking first image, backed by its established naval architecture and engineering work.

Most significant Riva: Riva 54Metri

Riva arrived with the largest yacht it has ever built: a 180-foot aluminium flagship designed by longtime collaborator Officina Italiana Design. Its full-height windows and fold-out bulwarks bring the water into much closer conversation with life aboard, while teak, leather and contrasting marbles carry the Riva design language inside. For a name so closely associated with the romance of smaller Italian boats, the debut showed how far that identity can travel.

Biggest sailing reveal: Royal Huisman’s Project 410

Royal Huisman unveiled its closely guarded 279-foot Project 410 during the show, although the yacht itself remains in the final stages of construction in the Netherlands. Once launched, it is set to become the world’s largest sloop-rigged sailing yacht. Frers Design conceived it for sailing performance as well as scale, with interiors by Wetzels Brown and a technical platform designed to regenerate energy under sail.

Most imaginative concept: Feadship’s HIVE

Feadship revealed HIVE, a futuristic 377-foot concept built around a soaring central space spanning four decks, inspired by the social salons of Paris in the 1930s. The gathering areas are meant to promote culture and conviviality, with spaces that can function as a salon, stage, or auditorium, plus water-level dining, a foredeck library, and a pool that extends indoors above a glass bottom.

Best wellness offering: Benetti’s Clear Waves

Benetti’s 230-foot Clear Waves concept moved the wellness conversation to an unexpected setting beneath a large, tessellated glass dome with panoramic views. Developed with Luca Dini Design & Architecture and The Longevity Suite, the project places a garden within the yacht and integrates solar panels into the dome’s glazing. Its emphasis on daylight, open views and daily wellbeing gives the familiar onboard spa a more architectural ambition.

Best collaboration: Wheels Up x Fraser

The journey to a superyacht became part of the Monaco story through Wheels Up and Fraser’s private aviation and charter partnership. The arrangement gives Wheels Up members preferred access to Fraser yacht charters and extends private aviation benefits to Fraser clients, with shared hospitality at the Monaco Yacht Show. A trip can combine commercial premium travel, private flights, helicopter transfers and a yacht charter under one itinerary. In select destinations, the companies also envision seaplane transfers directly to a yacht.

Best hospitality presentation: Red Sea Global

The Saudi Red Sea Pavilion made a persuasive case for looking beyond the Mediterranean. Visitors were welcomed with Saudi coffee, while interactive stations introduced the coastline’s dramatic landscapes and coral reefs, as well as its nature-positive regenerative destinations, including The Red Sea and AMAALA. Red Sea Global highlighted its standout properties like Shebara and Desert Rock, which recently became the first hotel in Saudi Arabia to receive Three MICHELIN Keys plus the guide’s 2026 Architecture & Design Award. In a sign of the region’s growing ambitions, the Monaco Yacht Show brand will power the inaugural Red Sea Yacht Show at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from October 14 to 17, 2027, organized by Tahaluf in partnership with Sela.

Best case for sailing forward: Simena

The 203-foot sailing yacht Simena received the show’s Blue Wake special prize for a yacht. Built by Ares Yachts, she pairs sailing with parallel-hybrid propulsion, including electric motors, battery-supported quiet operation, and energy regeneration under sail. The award gave the week a welcome point of substance: an actual vessel with operating technology to discuss, rather than another distant promise of cleaner yachting.
