On December 18, Haute Living hosted an exclusive evening in honor of Boyd Holbrook, star of the upcoming film A Complete Unknown, with a festive event at Maker’s Mark Winter Wheat Wonderland in NYC.

Notable attendees included acclaimed artist Robert Tedesco, Takuma Watanabe (owner of Martiny’s, ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars), Alexandria Nahlous, Global PR Director for Suntory Global Spirits, Seth Semilof, publisher and COO of Haute Media GroupLaura Schreffler, Editor-in-Chief of Haute Media Group, and more.

Guests mingled over Americana-themed bites such as hamburgers and mac and cheese squares, perfectly paired with Maker’s Mark specialty cocktails inspired by A Complete Unknown, including the ‘Ring of Fire’ concocted with Maker’s Mark® 46, mulled wine, and garnished with orange peel and ‘The Man in Black’ with Maker’s Mark® Cask Strength, maple syrup, Angostura® Aromatic Bitters, and fresh grated cinnamon.

The event had a distinct Kentucky connection, celebrating Boyd Holbrook’s roots alongside Maker’s Mark’s heritage as a Kentucky bourbon. Highlighting the occasion, Seth Semilof delivered a heartfelt speech about following Boyd’s illustrious career from Narcos to his latest endeavor, praising his depth and talent as an actor. Alexandria Nahlous further emphasized the synergy of celebrating Kentucky’s rich culture and Boyd’s achievements.

These festive libations, crafted exclusively for the event, paid homage to Boyd’s film being released on Christmas Day. Attendees also took home festive Maker’s Mark holiday keepsakes, hand-dipped in the brand’s signature red wax.

The Winter Wheat Wonderland, open now through December 22 in Union Square, offers visitors the chance to enjoy festive cocktails, create wax-dipped souvenirs, and uncover seasonal surprises in a magical holiday setting.
