Virgil Abloh Celebrates Off-White x Saks Collaboration With Star-Studded Soiree

On Wednesday, April 24, Off-White Founder and Creative Director Virgil Abloh and Saks Chief Merchant Tracy Margolies hosted an intimate dinner at L’Avenue at Saks to celebrate the exclusive launch of Off-White’s “Fine Arts” capsule collection for Saks Fifth Avenue.

Gigi Hadid, Olivia Culpo, Jimmy Fallon, Luka Sabbat, Chanel Iman, Sterling Shepard, Victor Cruz, Heron Preston, Selby Drummond, Cam Newton, Kerwin Frost, Selah Marley, Gracie Carvalho, Olivia Perez, Christina Paik, Joe Holder, Cully Smoller, Sabrina Albarello and Poppy Jamie were among the big name guests who attended the fashionable fete.

Inspired by the traditional categories of fine art including architecture, music, painting, literature, sculpture and acting, the “Fine Arts” capsule collection consists of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, sneakers, handbags and soft accessories. The collection ranges in price from $130 to $1,585.

In celebration of this exclusive collaboration, Saks dedicated its prominent center six Fifth Avenue windows to feature themed visual installations designed by Virgil for Off-White celebrating the arts, including acting, painting and literature. The takeover also included pop-up displays throughout the store – one of which is modeled after a record shop and features listening stations where customers can enjoy a playlist curated by Virgil.

Attendees at the soiree not only got a chance to check out the collaboration first-hand, but also enjoyed a menu of signature L’Avenue at Saks dishes as well as desserts by Pierre Hermé, acclaimed French pastry chef and L’Avenue at Saks partner.
