Yesterday the NBA announced LeBron James as the 2013 Most Valuable Player, the fourth time for James. The nine-time All-Star and NBA champ received a total of 1,207 points and 120 votes out of 121, beating Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant. This is James’ second consecutive MVP while playing for the Miami Heat. “I just try to be the best player on the court every single night when I step on the floor,” James said. “This really doesn’t mean much to me. I’m humbled. I’m happy about it. I wish there were 15 of these up here because this great group of guys allows me to be the MVP each and every night.”

James was in Miami to receive the award alongside his kids, his fiancée Savannah Brinson, Dwayne Wade, Heat President Pat Riley and Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra. “I think the man that we’re looking at right here is the best of all of them,” said Riley.
