Hilary Clinton To Begin Paid Public Speaking Circuit
Only two weeks after stepping down as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton is getting ready to begin the lucrative public speaking circuit. The former secretary of state signed on with the Harry Walker Agency and will begin making paid speeches this spring.
“She will probably be on the lower end of her husband’s speeches, but she’ll be incredibly desirable,” Stacy Tetschner, CEO of National Speakers Association, told the New York Daily News.
Clinton is expected to command six-figure fees for paid speeches — nearly the same amount as her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Since leaving office, President Clinton has earned more than $89 million through various speaking engagements, according to a tally by CNN.
