Bentley’s First Fully Electric SUV Made Its Florida Debut at Bentley Residences Miami, and Gil Dezer Says Buyers “Felt It the Moment They Saw It”
Bentley Residences Miami hosted the Florida debut of the 2027 Bentley Torcal, Bentley’s first fully electric production vehicle, and Gil Dezer shares an exclusive word with Haute Living.
Bentley has spent more than a century perfecting what goes in the garage. In Sunny Isles Beach, the British marque is now reimagining where that garage lives, and last week it brought its newest car home to prove the point.
On Friday, October 23, Bentley Residences Miami hosted the Florida debut of the 2027 Bentley Torcal SUV, Bentley Motors’ first fully electric production vehicle. The private unveiling at the development’s sales gallery brought together Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development, and Mike Rocco, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, Inc. – Americas Region, celebrating two firsts under one roof: Bentley’s first fully electric production vehicle and its first branded residential tower.

A word from Gil Dezer, exclusively to Haute Living. For the developer, having the Torcal on site was personal.

“We are honored that Bentley Motorcars chose our sales office to showcase the new Torcal. Seeing Bentley’s first all-electric model in person alongside Bentley Residences reflects exactly why this partnership means so much to us,” Dezer told Haute Living in an exclusive statement. “Bentley and Dezer Development truly understand how to create uncompromising craftsmanship, timeless design, and a standard of luxury that feels effortless.”
“The Torcal is a bold step into the future that stays true to everything that makes a Bentley a Bentley, and our buyers felt it the moment they saw it,” he continued. “We are proud to work with a company that has led in luxury for more than a century, and we look forward to delivering a residence worthy of the name.”

Drive straight to your door. Bentley Residences Miami translates Bentley’s automotive legacy into an architectural experience, most notably through its patented Dezervator automobile elevator system, developed in partnership with Otis Elevator Company. The system allows residents to drive directly to their private in-unit sky garages, bringing the car into the heart of the home. The development will also feature EV charging capabilities, a natural complement to the next generation of electric luxury vehicles like the Torcal.

62 stories above the Atlantic. Rising 62 stories and 716 feet above the Atlantic Ocean, the tower will feature 216 ultra-luxury residences with expansive private terraces, ocean views and resort-style amenities. Developed by Dezer Development in collaboration with Bentley Motors, the project is slated for completion in 2028.

The Torcal’s Florida debut made a fitting showcase for what the tower has promised from the start: that Bentley’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation extends beyond the road and into a distinctive oceanfront home.

Haute Living has followed the project from our exclusive first look at Bentley Residences to the night we celebrated Haute Residence cover stars Gil Dezer and Todd English at Bentley Residences.
