Each autumn, Fort Lauderdale earns its reputation as the yachting capital of the world, and this year Haute Living is proud to be along for the voyage. The magazine is serving as a media partner for the 67th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which returns October 28 through November 1 as the largest in-water boat show on the globe.

A Show Measured in Superlatives

The numbers alone set the tone. More than 1,300 boats will be on display, with more than 100,000 attendees and some 1,000 exhibitors arriving from over 90 countries. Together they fill more than three million square feet of exhibit space, making FLIBS, as the show is known to regulars, a five-day summit for the global yachting community.

The event is owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and produced by Informa Markets, and its reach extends well beyond a single dock. This is one show staged across the entire Fort Lauderdale waterfront, spanning Bahia Mar, Hall of Fame Marina, Pier Sixty-Six, Las Olas Marina and the Broward County Convention Center.

Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South

For many, the main attraction is Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South, where the largest yachts of the show come to berth. It is the corner of the show where scale becomes spectacle, with the sector’s most ambitious vessels lined up along the water for a closer look.

Beyond the superyachts, the show’s footprint links the city’s marinas and its convention center into a single waterfront itinerary, from Bahia Mar and Las Olas Marina to the exhibit halls of the Broward County Convention Center, so the journey between venues becomes part of the occasion.

The Windward VIP Club

For those who prefer to take in the show at a more leisurely pace, the Windward VIP Club at Hall of Fame Marina offers an elevated retreat, complete with a premium open bar, gourmet food and luxury pop-ups. It is a fitting pause between viewings, and a place to linger after a day spent touring the docks.

As Fort Lauderdale prepares to welcome the yachting world once again, Haute Living will be sharing highlights from the waterfront throughout the show. Follow along on Instagram at @hauteliving and with #FLIBS2026 and #HauteYachts for a front-row view of the week.
