Haute 100 New York Update: Ralph Lauren Is Converting Old Rugby Store into Denim & Supply

After trying to attract younger consumers with its youth-oriented Rugby label for eight years, Ralph Lauren announced his plans in December to shut down the 14-store chain. But it looks like the fashion powerhouse isn’t ready to give up his mission just yet!

According to Racked, construction workers were spotted at the former Rugby store on University Place posting a sign for Denim & Supply, Lauren’s younger line. With lower price points than the original label, Denim & Supply will probably sell well in Greenwich Village due to its close proximity to New York University.
