List of Foods You Can’t Eat in Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Cookbook
Want to look like Gwyneth Paltrow? Be prepared to give up sugar, dairy, meat, shellfish, deep water fish, eggs, coffee, soy, wheat, processed foods and alcohol.
The Academy Award winning actress is set to release a new cookbook on April 2 based on a restrictive “elimination diet,” which she claims helped her shed pounds and feel more energetic. Entitled “It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy, Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great,” the cookbook features 185 “restorative” recipes that aim to help readers lose weight and gain energy.
Paltrow began following the elimination diet last Spring when she started feeling fatigued, faint, anemic, vitamin D-deficient and stressed. “After changing her diet, Paltrow healed totally, felt more energetic and looked great,” reads the official publisher’s book description.
The cookbook features recipes for Huevos Rancheros, Hummus Tartine with Scallion-Mint Pesto, Salmon Burgers with Pickled Ginger and even a healthy version of brownies and ice-cream.
