Scott Disick’s Ryu restaurant in New York’s Meatpacking District recently shuttered following the reality TV personality and entrepreneur left the venture a few months ago to focus on other projects. Despite rumblings that the celebrity sushi spot may be headed to Los Angeles, reports indicate it’s no longer happening.
According to Grubstreet Los Angeles, Scott Disick had “promised to open a local location of Ryu”, however, new reports that the New York location has closed are putting a damper those west coast plans. Reports suggest that Ryu closed during Hurricane Sandy and has not reopened and the website is no longer working.
Disick opened Ryu along with Fatty Crew VP of operations Jesse Camac about five months ago.
