Mehmet Bayraktar

A real power player in the development world, Mehmet Bayraktar moved his family from Turkey to the U.S. in 2001 in an effort to expand his real estate development business. Before becoming chairman and CEO of Flagstone Property Group, Bayraktar was chairman and CEO of Bayraktar Holding, a holding company of his family’s portfolio of businesses, which ranged from real estate endeavors to restaurants, amongst others. Among the various projects which he envisioned and developed are: The Atakoy Complex in Istanbul; The Carousel mixed-use project in Bakirkoy,Istanbul; and The Izmit Outlet Center in Izmit.
