Jarvis Green

News | July 30, 2012

This NFL superstar was drafted by the New England Patriots back in 2002. In seven seasons with the Patriots, he started 34 out of 108 games, recording 279 tackles, 27 sacks, none forced fumbles, and six fumble recoveries. He has been a part of five division championships, three conference titles and two Super Bowl wins. He may be fierce out on the field, but in his everyday life, he has a real soft spot for giving back. In 2006, he formed the Jarvis Green Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to single working mothers in low-income neighborhoods.

After eight fond years with the Patriots, Jarvis moves on to the next chapter of his career with the Houston Texans, but he will always have a place in his heart for Bean Town
