Huw Edwards Jones
John Bly, television presenter and antique furniture expert for ‘The Antiques Road Show’, described Huw as “A modern day Chippendale”.
Huw’s clients are varied and include royalty. He was commissioned to make a special piece as a wedding gift for HRH Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones. He restored the hall at Corpus Christi, Cambridge, made a selection of items for lyricist Charles Hart and a recent commission has been for the Principal of the Yehudi Menuhin School.
He is also a Spitfire aficionado and is currently undertaking the making of a unique piece, an aeronautical sculpture/table, for which a design patent has been obtained, in memory of R.J. Mitchell, designer of the Spitfire which will be made from original Spitfire parts.
