Chef Mohan Teams Up With RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen For Mother’s Day Cooking Class

Stumped on what to get your  mom for Mother’s Day? L.A.’s chic RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen is offering a cooking lesson from one of the hautest chefs in the business. Chef Mohan Ismali (Chef Mohan for short) and his mother, Asiah, will hold a cooking class on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with brunch to follow.

Guests will learn to cook traditional Southeast Asian breakfast dishes with Chef Mohan and his mother, such as Roti John, Kaya Toast, Congee, Mee Siam and Strawberry Lemon Punch. Asiah taught Mohan everything he knows about Southeast Asian cuisine, and is ready to share those time-honored family recipes with all those in attendance.
