Haute Preview: 25th Annual Five Star Night To Benefit Alameda County Meals on Wheels

You’re invited to join celebrity Chef Narsai David on April 27 for the 25th annual Five Star Night at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland.

The lovely evening benefits Alameda County Meals on Wheels and has been a major fundraising event for the organization for 24 years. Alameda County Meals on Wheels delivers over 2,200 warm meals each week day to local homebound seniors.Guests who attend will be served a delicious four-course meal created by Chef Narsai David and a slew of other renowned chefs from fine restaurants in the Bay Area. Some highlights of the menu include Duck Gyozas with Koji Miso Mustard, Micro Clantro and Kazami Nori and the Braised Lamb with Pasilla Peppers and Honey, Sweet Potatoes and Fresh Asparagus.

In addition to the meal, attendees will participate in a live, silent auction, with excellent items to choose from like the chance to watch a Warriors game during the 2012-2013 season at Oracle Arena in a luxury suite with 15 other friends. As part of this same item, the group will receive signed photos of Monta Ellis and Ike Diogu, a signed Monta Ellis jersey and more.
