Feadship’s Hampshire II, Built For Action-Lovers, Launched Saturday

Feadship launched its 78.5-meter custom motoryacht, dubbed Hampshire II, on Saturday for an owner with a love of action and sports.

The foredeck ball court and 25-meter high crow’s mast are just the first reasons you know the Hampshire II was build for adventure. The helicopter landing platform, which is finished in teak, can be transformed into a playing field for basketball, tennis, baseball, badminton and even football.

The split-level design maximizes the volume of outdoor space, and the two-person elevator offers panoramic views high above the water. A zip wire is connected to the mast, to which the truly adventurous passenger can tie a rope and slide at breathtaking speed from the crow’s nest down to the water.

A contemporary overall design by Redman Whiteley Dixon and Feadship incorporates balconies on either side, and the interior is a classic affair with a typical English-style bar on the bridge deck and a passageway in the engine room with full height glass walls.
