Kenneth Cole Releases New Upscale Line ‘Kenneth Cole Collection’
Coinciding the with 30th birthday of the Kenneth Cole brand will be the release of a new line of higher-priced women’s and men’s sportswear, dubbed the Kenneth Cole Collection.
Prices will range from $400 for dresses, $900 for outerwear, $130 button-down shirts and $598 coats. The designer hopes to use the higher-end clothing to reintroduce himself to the “Kenneth Cole woman” and to “speak to her in a more elevated and engaged manner.” Cole imagines his female customers to be working, confident, sophisticated and know what she likes.
The company will also redevelop the Kenneth Cole New York labels for the fall. Cole even offered to buy back his company a few weeks ago, but so far, it hasn’t happened.
