Gucci Extends Menswear Line To Include ‘Made To Measure’ In-Store Tailoring Service

Fashion, News | April 2, 2012

Italian luxury fashion house Gucci is extending its menswear line to include a Made-To-Measure, in-store tailoring service in 11 cities worldwide.

The service offers fabrics from an exclusive selection and provides for customizable options with finishes and details. It also allows for personal tailoring according to the client’s individual measurements.

The range of top-quality materials includes about 80 textiles that allow for 178 possible combinations of colors and fabrics ( wool, cashmere and mohair in classic shades of gray, navy blue and brown, alongside silk satin, velvet and baby lama for evening, with Diamante embroidery and jacquards featuring the House’s iconic horsebit in tone-on-tone combinations).

The Made To Measure service is completed with a customized selection of shirts. The client may choose a fit from a complete existing proposal of recognizable Gucci silhouettes in a wide range of colors and fabrics.

Gucci is offering the one-on-one service in New York, Paris and Tokyo. To schedule a private, in-store fitting, call one of the 11 select boutiques directly, or contact Gucci at clientservice-europe@it.gucci.com.
