The annual charity event Vertical Rush is a race up Tower 42, London’s second tallest building.

That’s a race up 920 steps!

The climb benefits housing and homelessness charity shelters. It will take place March 1 with various time slots beginning at 7:30 a.m. and going through the early afternoon.

If you think 42 stories is a lot to climb, just remember there’s a reward at the top: the magnificent view. And, don’t forget, it’s for a good cause (and good exercise as well).

Entrants must pledge to raise at least £165 (individuals), £750 (teams of five), or £450 (relay teams of three) and registration fees apply. Click here to enter.
