Haute Event: L’Oréal Paris’ Sixth Annual Women of Worth Awards
Last night, Andie MacDowell, Julianna Margulies, Aimee Mullins, Nina Garcia, Katie Cassidy and Gayle King attended/presented at the L’Oréal Paris’ Sixth Annual Women of Worth Awards at the Hearst Tower.
Women of Worth recognizes real women making a difference in their communities. These women have such inspiring stories, ranging from teaching underprivileged neighborhoods about healthy food to raising money for children’s cancer simply by selling cookies. Each year, 10 women are chosen from thousands of public nominations and awarded $10K for their charity. The awards ceremony then honors the women for their amazing work, and one woman is named the National Honoree (based on a nationwide public vote). She receives an additional $25k.
